핀란디아 찬가 (Finlandia Hymn) 가사를 번안한 찬송가

"내 영혼아 잠잠하라 (Be Still, My Soul)"

가사는 1752년 Katharina Amalia Dorothea von Schlegel (1697–1768)에 의해서 독일어(Stille meine Wille, dein Jesus hilft siegen) 로 작사 되었으며 1855년에 Jane Laurie Borthwick (1813–1897)가 영어로 번역하였다.

Be still my soul  (내 영혼아 잠잠하라)

Be still my soul; the Load is on thy side               
Bear patiently patiently the cross of grief or pain.
Leave to thy God to order and provide.
In every change, He faithful will remain.

Be still my soul; thy best, thy heavenly Friend
Through thorny ways leads to a joyful end.

내 영혼아 잠잠하라. 주님은 네 편이시니
인내로써 슬픔과 고통의 십자가를 견디어라.
너희 하느님께서 명령하시고 채우시도록 하여라.
모든 변화속에서도 신실하신 하느님은 변치 않으리라. 
 
내 영혼아 잠잠하라. 하늘에 계신 너희 최고의 친구께서
가시밭길을 통하여 너를 기쁨의 끝자락에 인도하시리라.
